A pharmacy recently reported to the National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA) that scammers made calls to them in the name of the NHIA. In order to avoid any financial loss and to secure personal data, the NHIA urges the contracted NHI healthcare providers to be very careful when they receive a fraudulent call.

The NHIA stresses the medical reimbursement will be made by an official notice and the NHIA will not use voicemails, texts, and LINE to ask for a transaction and personal information.
